BugAwayFly™ | The Original Bio-Mimicry Dragonfly Deterrent
The Science of bugawayfly™
Tapping into Mother Nature's predatory laws to keep you bite-free.
Deer and Horse flies are primarily visual hunters that are relentless in their pursuit of a blood meal. However, they possess a hardwired instinct: they flee instantly when they spot their most lethal predator—the dragonfly.
The BugAwayFly™ simulates a real dragonfly in flight utilizing a specialized "scarecrow approach." By replicating the exact visual cues of a hunting dragonfly, it naturally fools these biting insects, creating a protective zone around you.
This is biomimicry at its finest—effective, sustainable, and entirely chemical-free.

Great design, easy yo install, quality product
Seem to work as advertised but wings have broken off a few after only being placed outside for a couple weeks. Stronger wings would be a great improvement
2 of the four arrived with broken clips
Doesn’t work bugs are still eating me alive
Eh.. they are okay. Immediately broke a couple days of placing them. The wings fell off on all but one. Maybe i see a little less flies, but i cant actually tell.
These have been keeping the bugs away from doorways and they’re cute.
Didn’t seem to scare the mosquitoes 😡.
The wings all fell off after 2-3 weeks
These things do not last very long. The wings break of super easily. I have lost 6 of the dragonflies to broken wings.
seem to do the job.
These little guys are spread around my porch and front door. Actually, doing the job they were intended to do…keeping the darn flies from darting into the house for the AC! A hot west Texas win , happy with purchase.
Works great
Amazing, no more glying anything in back patio
good quality
Wings came off the same day i put them out
such a fun idea. Had about 3 broken wings out of 18 ordered
Dont waste your money, don't work!!
Wings fell off 🤷🏽♂️
So far so good. We love to have dinner outside in the summer evenings and have a few of these clipped tot he table!
Bugawayfly works beautifully!! I have barely seen any fly insects in my yard, since putting them around.
We have these everywhere and it makes NO DIFFERENCE!!!
Looks sturdy enough we shall see if they work . Fast delivery
Works!
They so not work as intended at all, wasps, flies, whatever nothing is afraid of these things
Product works better than expected. I’m very pleased with this purchase and might order more to gift to family.
so far so good I put them around My outdoor bar really haven’t been out there that much lately but when I am out there, they seem to keep the mosquitoes and the gnats away. i’m gonna buy some more and try them around my boathouse to keep the wasp from nesting that will be the real test
Having placed the dragonfly deterrents in our yard just over a week ago, we have found close to no mosquitos swarming as we enjoy the recent beautiful weather. I am typically pretty skeptical so, jury is still out but, so far so good.
So far no spiders on the deck
I Love Them
I like how they really worked
Unsatisfied
These things really work! I have noticed that there are very few wasps on my porch.
